This is only 2 years after her previous book in English: Recent Advances in Mitochondrial Medicine and Coenzyme Q10. Anna Gvozdjáková has cooperated with the discoverer of coenzyme Q10, Professor Frederick Crane. Professor Gvozdjáková’s findings of the beneficial effect of coenzyme Q10 in children with autism led Professor Crane to the hypothesis of a new function of coenzyme Q10 in mitochondria and about its transport across the outer membrane of mitochondria.
